Centre Point (the newly appointed name for the late-night space in the Button Factory) is a club space and bar in the heart of Dublin’s City Centre. It has already seen some of the biggest names in electronic music pass through its doors, many to a sold-out crowd, including Laurent Garnier, Mall Grab, Folamour, Partiboi69, Maribou State, Floating Points, Vintage Culture, Romare, and hometown heroes Krystal Klear, Mano Le Tough, Dart and George Feely.
The club has also worked alongside local collectives, crews and artists such as Shed Sessions, Human Error, Le Boom, Mo Cultivation, Soul Jam, Bella Festa, Dublin Digital Radio and many more.
The club now heads into Season 2, Centre Point will continue where it left off with a top line-up of local and international stars featuring Overmono (Live), Saoirse, Daniel Avery, Franky Wah, HAAi, Barry Can’t Swim, DJ Seinfeld, Or:la, Prospa, O’Flynn and Daithí.
There will also be collaborations with one of Europe’s leading electronic music & arts festivals AVA Festival for their Connections series which see club nights taking place simultaneously across Dublin, Belfast and London on the same weekend.
Centre Point’s edition will feature Joy Orbison and Síofra. Much loved Dublin disco outfit prYmary colours host the Love Ball with a host of local friends, complete with a catwalk, countless disco balls and pure disco passion. London-based hometown star, Saoirse brings her “trUst” night to Dublin for the first time, and famed cycling Drum & Bass DJ Dom Whiting brings his show to the stage after another cycling parade around the city!
Clubbing is the social fabric of our society. Our city has been losing clubs, and spaces to dance, meet, learn and escape. Centre Point is a much-needed revived home for electronic music in the city.
A space that will nurture a diverse program of Irish and international artists. A space that will work with independent promoters, artists, and creators who have a shared ethos and emphasis on music, design, and world-class audiovisual production, as well as an environmental and social vision.
We believe there is nothing more liberating than experiencing the unifying power of music, in a space where people of all backgrounds can enjoy themselves, free from judgment, in a fun-loving, responsible & respectful way.
Tickets for all shows are now available at www.centrepointclub.ie via new ticketing partner DICE.
