National Library of Ireland to open after hours with new evening programme of
events

Those pictured accompany Acting Director of the NLI, Katherine McSharry on a special
Director’s Tour of the Library. The 30-minute tour, which takes place monthly and is part of
the autumn programme, will focus on the Library’s Victorian architecture; its wide range of
use the services; as well as the links with historic and literary figures, including writers such
as James Joyce and WB Yeats, and revolutionaries planning the 1916 Easter Rising. All
events are free and will comprise a mix of in-person and online formats. Full event details
