Alison Spittle is an award-winning writer, actor and comedian. She is co-creator and co-presenter of the BBC sounds podcast Wheel of Misfortune and is a regular co-host ofThe Guilty Feminist. Alison’s stand up shows have enjoyed several sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Dublin Fringe Festival, Glasgow comedy festival and Machynlleth among others. She has performed at numerous festivals including the Vodafone Comedy Festival at the Iveagh Gardens, Body & Soul, Electric Picnic and Kilkenny Cat Laughs as well as headlining her own sold-out shows at Vicar Street.
During lockdown Alison created and ran #covideoparty an online film watch along club that trended on Twitter for months, Instagram live fake masses and presented a national radio show called “Will You Shift My Friend?” on Today FM. She creates online quizzes and other lockdown friendly content.
