Dogs Trust Ireland has announced a brand-new partnership with PetStop Ireland.
The pet store chain is coming on board as a Strategic Partner for Dogs Trust Ireland with a significant financial investment that will help the leading dog welfare charity offer the best care to dogs around Ireland and educate the Irish public about responsible dog ownership.
As Ireland’s most trusted pet store, PetStop shares a passion and commitment for the welfare of dogs around Ireland.
PetStop stores stock everything dog owners need to nurture their pooch pals, including food, toys and accessories, with friendly, expert staff on hand to offer advice on how to keep your dogs happy and healthy.
It currently has 9 stores at locations across Ireland with that number set to increase to 12 in the coming months.
Speaking about the company’s new partnership with Dogs Trust Ireland, Anthony Gallagher, CEO of PetStop Ireland, said:
“We are thrilled to team up with Dogs Trust Ireland. At PetStop, we feel very passionately that every dog deserves the opportunity to thrive and live a happy life. As pet care experts, we are dedicated to offering the best products and services for dogs across Ireland and that extends to helping dogs and pups that may have been dealt a rough hand through no fault of their own. Dogs Trust Ireland do truly invaluable work in the community, especially when it comes to rescuing stray and abandoned dogs, and we look forward to supporting them in their efforts over the coming months, both practically and financially.”
Dogs Trust Ireland is always working to identify and recruit corporate partners who wish to support the charity, particularly those with a shared vision for improving and enhancing the lives of dogs and their owners. Such support is vital and enables Dogs Trust Ireland to achieve their goals of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming vulnerable dogs around Ireland as well as promoting responsible dog ownership.
Ailbhe White, Partnerships Manager with Dogs Trust Ireland, explains:
“Dogs Trust Ireland does not receive any government funding and instead relies on donations, fundraising and corporate partnerships. We are currently seeing a huge increase in the number of dogs we are being asked to assist, meaning that the support of donors and partners is needed now more than ever. We are deeply grateful to PetStop for coming on board as a new Strategic Partner. As one of Ireland’s leading pet care retailers, nobody understands better the importance of looking after our canine companions. Our missions are completely aligned, and we know that together, we can help make Ireland a safer and happier place for dogs.”
