Beyond The Pale Music Festival has announced its exciting day-by-day schedule for the weekend. Eleven new acts are also being announced today, including Orbital, Houseplants, Royel Otis, Kara Jackson, Lemoncello, Shark School, Chris Wilson DC, Prymary Colours present Love Ball, Sing Along Social, Glasshouse Ensemble presents The Velvet Underground and Essiray.
With the new addition of Orbital the electronic pioneers Paul and Phil Hartnoll who will bring their legendary audiovisual live show, having just played Coachella last weekend. They will be replacing previously billed Soulwax who have cancelled their June tour. Fans can be reassured that Soulwax’s alter ego act 2ManyDJs will still be playing the festival.
Houseplants have been announced – the live electronic collaborative project by Paul Noonan (of Bell X1) and Daithí, who have sold-out their Irish tour this week and recently launched a brilliant new album.
Also announced today are Royel Otis, the formidable guitar-pop act from Australia are making waves with their recent debut album, Kara Jackson the highly acclaimed Chicago folk singer/songwriter. Along with Irish acts Lemoncello, Chris Wilson DC, Shark School, Prymary Colours present Love Ball, Sing Along Social, Glasshouse Ensemble presents The Velvet Underground and Essiray.
Funk soul maestros and recent BRIT Award winners Jungle will headline on Friday the 21st of June, (their only Irish date this summer). Multi-Mercury Prize winner and 6-time BRIT nominee, Jessie Ware will headline on Saturday the 22nd, with YouTube sensation Marc Rebillet headlining on Sunday the 23rd.
Beyond The Pale 24’ will also feature Grammy-nominated the xx front-woman Romy and techno icon Richie Hawtin. Legendary Scottish writer Irvine Welsh will also perform at what he calls his ‘favourite festival in the world’.
Canada’s Alvvays, Courtney Barnett, and a first ever Irish festival appearance for Thievery Corporation. BTP’24 will also see the debut of Obongjayar of ‘Adore You’ fame.
A diverse range of high-quality Irish acts include The Scratch, Gilla Band, John Francis Flynn, DJ David Holmes, Rachael Lavelle, Ailbhe Reddy, 49th & Main, Elaine Mai & Mai Kai and The Redneck Manifesto.

Arts
The festival’s Arts space includes performance legends, artist residencies, utopian dream spaces, new work commissions, in a sometimes jaw-dropping homage to the world of the arts with art installations, comedy, theatre and cabaret. The full line-up will be announced soon.
Wellness
In the wellness area festival goers can avail of Deep Tissue oil massage, Indian Head Massage, acupuncture as well as reflexology and the Bosca Beatha the original and first mobile sauna in Ireland. Escape the frenetic nature of life deeper into the woods where you’ll find the group wellness programme – The Space Between with tea ceremonies, breathwork, morning moves, Yoga, soundbath and ‘time travel for beginners’ meditation and much more!
Food
Beyond The Plate is the festival’s food area curated by Irish Times food journalist Ali Dunworth. Apart from all the great food, she’ll be presenting a line-up of talks & demonstrations from some of Ireland’s leading food & beverage personalities. The festival also boasts an extensive beer and cocktail menu.
Glamping
The festival’s glamping experience is back with Silk Road Tents and Pitch Perfect glamorous camping on site.
Travel
There is an excellent travel network to the festival with Marathon Coaches providing return bus routes from Custom House Quay to Glendalough Estate, departing Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of June. Single and return bus routes are also available from Bray DART station to Glendalough Estate, departing Friday 21st June. Drivers can find the route from Roundwood Co. Wicklow to the Oldbridge entrance to reach the parking areas of the festival.
