Blue Capricorn, the solo project of Latinx multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Rodrigo Caraballo-Marin, is thrilled to announce the release of his brand-new single, ‘MAKE ME BELIEVE’, featuring fellow artist Adieu Anais.
This hauntingly atmospheric track highlights Blue Capricorn’s signature fusion of genres, blending dream pop, indie, jazz, bolero, and experimental soundscapes into a delicate and introspective piece.
‘MAKE ME BELIEVE’ is an evocative journey of melancholy, showcasing the delicate balance between fragility and raw emotion. The collaboration between Blue Capricorn and Adieu Anais creates a celestial ambience that transports listeners into a world of ethereal, moody soundscapes. Inspired by vulnerability and love, the track explores the emotional complexities of patience and yearning in relationships.
Blue Capricorn first discovered Adieu Anais through a Facebook music group and was immediately captivated by her electronic, ethereal pop sound. Their shared musical connection grew after she opened for his EP release show in Fall 2023, leading to their collaboration on ‘MAKE ME BELIEVE’.
The two artists spent several improvisational sessions crafting the track in Denton, TX, alongside producer Michael Briggs, experimenting with melodies and creating a soundscape that would resonate with their combined artistic vision.
Blue Capricorn drew inspiration from moody, atmospheric songs like ‘Blue Hour’ by Nosaj Thing x Julianna Barwick and ‘Nothing’s Special’ by Oneohtrix Point Never x ROSALÍA to shape the emotional tone of ‘MAKE ME BELIEVE’. The track is a reflection of both artists’ worlds – celestial, sensitive, and deeply emotive.
This new single marks an important step in Blue Capricorn’s emerging career, reinforcing his reputation as a versatile artist unafraid to push the boundaries of genre and mood. With ‘MAKE ME BELIEVE’, he continues to make his mark on the music industry, capturing the attention of listeners who crave atmospheric and emotionally charged music.
