Dublin teenager Saibh Skelly maintains her hot streak with her new single ‘Superficial’.
The track was co-written and produced by Toby Scott (Felix Jaehn, Dimitri Vegas, Galantis) and Olivia Sebastianelli (Ella Henderson, Sophie & The Giants, Cassyette).
Current single ‘So What?’ has already racked up over 900 plays on Irish radio since release earlier this year, with an audience reach of almost 6 million.
Of her new track ‘Superficial’, Saibh says
“Social media can put pressure on us to make our relationships appear to be picture perfect. People put so much time and effort into this, that they can ignore what’s going on behind the camera. We’ve all found ourselves reminiscing over old photos, forgetting about the bad times but we have to eventually realise that sometimes it’s all just superficial!”
Saibh Skelly will release her second EP – ‘SAIBH X FIVE‘ on Rubyworks on Friday 21st April. Her 2022 debut EP ‘Undercover Heartbreak‘ charted Top 10 in the official Irish album charts.
Saibh will launch the new EP with a headline gig Upstairs At Whelan’s on Saturday 22nd April.
She has also been busy with a series of secondary school concerts and Q&A sessions around Ireland, and will play her first all-ages headline show at the Academy 2 in Dublin on Saturday 20th May.
Saibh Skelly continues to grow her online audience, with 88k followers on Instagram, 6 million views on her YouTube channel and over 3.5 million views on TikTok.
