The LEGO(R) BRICKTIONARY EXPERIENCE to open in Ireland

Created by one of the world’s leading LEGO® brick artists and LEGO® certified professional Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, the new LEGO® model exhibition about to open in Dublin is based on Ryan’s renowned book, The Bricktionary: The Ultimate A-Z of LEGO®. The interactive experience has been loved in continents right across the globe, from Australia, to Asia, to America, and on Mother’s Day March 10th, Dublin will welcome the European debut of this creative and colourful LEGO® wonderland, aimed at kids and adults alike.

Built to inspire the imaginations of LEGO® fans of all ages, and challenge visitors with 6 interactive build zones, the exhibition will feature over 150 models from bestselling book ‘The Bricktionary Ultimate A-Z of LEGO®’ and models from the much-loved television series ‘LEGO® Masters Australia’, which is currently airing here on Channel 4. The exhibition also includes 45 new brick models from the imaginations of The Brickman team, ranging from life-size animals to space travel.

Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught said, “I am so excited to open Bricktionary to Ireland, after it makes the journey from (literally) the other side of the world. This exhibition is all about using LEGO® bricks to inspire and celebrate the power of imagination.

With over 150 models to inspire you, millions of LEGO® bricks to build and play with, interactive build zones, including an Earthquake challenge and mystery mosaic, where guests get to help create enormous LEGO murals, I can’t wait to see what Dubliners will create!”

With a literal A to Z of wonderful LEGO® brick creations to enjoy, in total it has taken more than 6,500 hours to build the complete exhibition, all built by hand by Ryan and his team.

Bricktionary: The Interactive Exhibition is a whole new type of LEGO® brick experience. The exhibition not only includes all the creations from The Bricktionary – Ultimate A-Z of LEGO book, but also showcases some of the most amazing LEGO® brick models ever made.

Dan Gleeson, Co-owner of Dublin’s Theatre of Light in the Point Village, which will host the new exhibition from March 10th said, “We are excited to welcome the Brickman team to Ireland, and for Ireland to be the European debut of this colourful and fun exhibition that has been so loved across the globe. LEGO® inspires creativity in both kids and big kids at heart. We know from the previous overseas runs that yes, families with kids are the main target market for this attraction, but there is also a huge amount of LEGO® interest among adults.”

Bricktionary: The Interactive Exhibition is designed as an interactive LEGO® brick experience, offering a fun-filled journey of creation for families, children, and adults alike. With hands-on challenges featuring over 1 million LEGO bricks, participants will learn how to turn dreams into LEGO® Brick reality, with amazing creations and something to spark everyone’s creativity.

Bricktionary: The Interactive LEGO® Exhibition will open in the Theatre of Light, Point Village, Dublin 1 on Monday March 11th 2024.
