Celebrating its 10th year on the festival circuit next summer, Big Grill BBQ and Food Festival will return to the lush green surroundings of Dublin’s Herbert Park from Thursday 22nd August to Sunday 25th August 2024.
Showcasing the very best Irish and international chefs, restaurants and barbecue experts across one action-packed weekend in the capital, Big Grill has become legendary for shining a spotlight on the skillful techniques, incredible versatility and pure magic that comes with cooking over live fire.
Big Grill Festival Director Andy Noonan has never been one to shy away from curating an ambitious food festival line-up and in just ten years, he and his team, have grown the festival from just five restaurants and 10,000 visitors in 2014 to now hosting in excess of 20 Irish and international restaurants, 60 kings and queens of the grill on a variety of live stages and over 20,000 people in attendance.
Promising to go bigger and better than ever before, next summer’s Big Grill BBQ and Food Festival will see even more talented chefs and pitmasters traveling to Dublin from around the country, and from around the world, bringing best in class BBQ dishes on a scale you won’t experience anywhere else. Plans are also in place to make Big Grill 2024 even more family friendly with a substantially larger Little Grillers section offering more interactive activities, cooking demos and live entertainment.
Limited Early Bird tickets will be on sale from 12 noon on Wednesday 13th December with general admission tickets priced at a special €22 each for the remainder of 2023 – this festive offer will end on January 1st 2024. For those who want total flexibility to all sessions, across all four days of the festival, this is also your chance to get your hands on the hugely popular Whole Hog tickets for just €50 each plus booking fees. Every Big Grill ticket not only guarantees admission to the festival where you can discover the best BBQ dishes from Ireland and the world’s top live fire chefs and restaurants, but also gives you access to Bastecamp for demos, talks and workshops with a host of fire and food talent. There’s live music too, DJs and entertainment, eating competitions, a host of bars and Irish craft breweries and plenty of inspiring vendors offering everything from rubs to sauces, corn dogs to ice creams and all manner of delights in between.
Tickets for Rancho Relaxo will also be available in the Early Bird sale, so you can book your spot in the premium area – the strictly over 18s exclusive Rancho and garden within the festival where you can kick back and catch up with mates, work buddies and take a breather from the festival action. - 4pm to 10pm on Thursday August 22nd and Friday August 23rd
- 11.30am to 4.30pm and from 6pm until 10.30pm on Saturday August 24th
- 12pm until 8pm on Sunday August 25th
