GUINNESS STOREHOUSE LAUNCHES THIS YEAR’S ‘LOVELY DAY FOR A VISIT’

The Guinness Storehouse is thrilled to announce this year’s ‘Lovely Day for a Visit’ seasonal offering, featuring a world class line up of music & art collaborations and unforgettable summer installations throughout the building.

The World’s Leading Tourist Attraction proudly welcomes one of the most unique artists of the modern era, Biig Piig, on June 20th in the Arroll Suite in the Guinness Storehouse. Since her first single ‘Crush’n’ in 2017 to her recent single ‘Watch Me’, the Irish-born singer and rapper is building an international fanbase with her magnetic songs that reflect the dynamism of Irish culture.

“I can’t believe I’m getting the opportunity to play at The Guinness Storehouse! It’s a brand and city that are very close to my heart. I’m bringing two very exciting up and coming artists from Dublin with me to play the night. I can’t wait to set it off, have a delicious Guinness and make some memories.” said Biig Piig.

Joining her this summer at the Guinness Storehouse is one of the world’s most acclaimed electronic music producers and DJs, Armand Van Helden, who is also making his debut at the Home of Guinness on July 18th. Few dance music producers in any genre have had the staying power of Van Helden. His club anthems like You Don’t Know Me and My, My, My have crossed over into the mainstream.

“Playing for an Irish crowd is always a thrill. They love their dance music and the energy they bring to the dance floor is infectious. I’m excited be able to play this one-off show at the Home of Guinness,” said Armand Van Helden.

As part of these headline summer shows, the Guinness Storehouse will continue its connections with diverse and contemporary cultural voices, giving some of Ireland’s most exciting emerging creative talent the chance to share the stage with its headliners . These acts will be announced soon.

The ‘Lovely Day for a Visit’ summer experience promises to capture the social energy of Irish summertime, offering visitors nostalgic surprises and the best panoramic views of Dublin whilst enjoying a pint of Guinness, all under one roof, no matter the weather.

The Guinness Storehouse is also continuing its collaboration with Irish illustrator, Fatti Burke, whose designs add colourful and unexpected dimensions to the experience across seven floors alongside tropical plants and famous Gilroy characters that welcome visitors in The Atrium, as well as a ‘Wish You Were Here’ postcard station.

A ‘Lovely Day for a Visit’ at the Guinness Storehouse will run from 11th June 2024 and is open daily from 9:30am. The full exhibition is included in each experience ticket, which starts from €20.

Tickets for Biig Piig at the Guinness Storehouse go on sale on the Guinness Storehouse website on the 11th June at 2pm, priced at €20.
