Back for its third season, Unreal returns with new cast members Jamie Beamish, Kelly Gough and Frankie McCafferty joining the Kelly family for more strange adventures in Donegal.
Aiming to re-create the spirit of classic young people’s serial supernatural series, Unreal feels like a satisfying mix of pulp horror serials and science fiction. Think classic Doctor Who meets Stranger things in Donegal.
The series premieres on RTE 1 on Sunday the 25th of October in a back to back airing of the first 2 episodes, starting at 4.40.
We love that RTE are making a proper, scripted supernatural spookfest for young people, a genre that has fallen from the heyday of Spellbinder, Buffy and Goosebumps. Now it’s up to lovers of this genre to share it with their kids.
Can’t wait to watch Unreal on TV and the RTE player soon!
